PaulKing is wrong and has no knowledge of David's health choices.
David did not die of liver failure, or heart failure (as PaulKing has posted elsewhere), and he did not take HAART for many years before he was a dissident.
David died from advancing CMV (Cytomegalovirus) infection in his CNS (Central Nervous System - spine and brain).
He did take Viramune and Trizivir for a few months shortly before his death.
I am David's partner of seven years and participated in every aspect of his health decisions. Please feel free to email me with any questions or questionable posts you may see about him.

I apparently need to read more about David, I'm sure there's more than one person out there who didn't acknowledge the HIV/AIDS connection, or did so too late. I don't know why people question what's proven to be fact by many researchers and doctors, but I have to respect his logic, and I am sincerely sorry for your loss. (I have lost to HIV, so I can honestly say I know what you're going through). A brave battle fought, by both.

Everyone considered David a great man in the Dissident movement. However your post seems to be an attack upon a well known and respected Dissident leader, Paul King. The explanation for David's death has been reported repeatedly as caused by the toxic AID$ med$ leading to liver failure and eventual death. Your post seems to indicate he only took them for a couple of months. In his weakened state from being in jail they overwhelmed his body easily. It's obvious he died from the medications. I feel bad for all of us but of course especially you, if it is indeed the "real" you. I also wonder about your use of the term "denialist". Something here isn't right.
