I am a health care worker in Baltimore. Every other patient that
I come into contact with in my clinic is an HIV or AIDS patient.
I would like everyone who has this disease to know that I pray
for a cure everyday, and do my best to help those who are
affected. whether it is to find a place to stay, to find a bed in
a drug treatment program, get medications not covered by
insurance or they can't afford, or help them get medical
assistance. This career choice has its drawbacks, when I loose a
patient it greatly affects me, because I get to know, and care
about these people. If everyone cared as much as I no HIV and
AIDS patients would never have to worry about health care or a
place to stay.
