Dating another HIV+ person
      #7670 - 07/26/00 09:40 PM

I have been HIV+ for over 5 years and always involved in relationships with HIV- guys. That has never been an issue for me nor my past partners.
Nowadays I got involved with another HIV+ guy who is really nice with a golden heart. The shocking thing is that I have noticed on him some of the issues my ex-partner complained to me about. He's very needy and demanding. I enjoy all of the atention he is giving me, but sometimes I feel that I need to take some time off and just take a break from him. Is it an HIV thing? or is it that I just have no experience dealing with somebody who is going through my same issues? I feel that living with HIV shouldn't affect the way your relationships work, on the contrary, HIV makes you a better, stronger, more sensitive person. Could you give me some input and let me know what is that I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

No need to disclose your HIV status as we all are HIV positive!
