hi, im a final year sociology student in the UK and i am conducting my dissertation around the topic of AIDS and the stigmas faced still today. i am particularly interested in whether the media influenced peoples feelings by barraging the public with images in the early years of the epidemic. SO, i am interested in what kind of discrimintation sufferers face 20 years on, and whether certain age groups/classes/genders are more discriminate than others. i would really appreciate any response to this, any personal stories or any discrimation witnessed in the orkplace or socially.
