Pimples and Advanced HIV

Hello there. Although I have been on The Body mailing list for quite sometime, I must say I have never been to this post site before. I find this to be very informative and I am glad to find a site where people can connect. My question is a strange one. You see, I have been living with my HIV positive roommate for over 3 years. I have researched the disease, but have been unable to find much on puss and HIV. I know it is bad to pick pimples, (and i cant believe I am writing this, for it sounds grosser than I make it out to be)but does the virus live in puss that is found in zits? For what I know, (and believe me I am not a doctor ;)) puss is an accumulation of dead white blood cells, so if the cells are dead, could the virus still live? Thank you for reading this....it is a question we both have been pondering for a long time. Dont worry, I dont pick his zits..its just one of thse strange questions we want to know the answer to.

The only fluids that have been proven to transmit HIV is breast milk (from mother to child) blood, semen and vaginal fluids. THAT'S ALL!!
So not sweat, salivia, vomit, urine, feces, pimples, or anything else!
