FRIEND WITH AIDS HAVING UNPROTECTED SEX !!!!

Help I have a friend that is having sex with several people, some married, some very young and that are also dating women with children. He has aids and is suppose to be on meds but is choosing not to take them. He acts like theres nothing wrong with having sex, and doesn't tell them he has aids or doesn't take protections to prevent giving it to them, if that possible. I am having a great deal of trouble understanding that he is not caring enough to stop what he's doing. I know some of the people and they are good people who have the right to know that he is infected. What do I do to stop this????? A friend told me if I told this one guy he would kill him, well I feel he is putting a whole town on death row as it is. Please help!!!!

You should first go to the local health department and talk with them. Then, one way or another...even in a secret annonymous form, tell everyone you know that they might be in trouble.
do it in a way that they will take you serious. Maybe the health dept will send them a note since you claim they are at risk...it too annonymous. Find out who the positive respects or listens to...doctor, clergy, parole officer, you name it and get the positive some help..alot of help. You, knowing the facts, are the ultimate responsible person and because of that burden, you have to find a way to end such a disaster. I dont know if you are +, but if not...there is no worse position. Be creative and be fast.

what a selfish jerk you have for a friend.. It migt be a good idea to advise your "friend" to get mental help.. also letting the health dept know might not be a bad idea.. oh, you can also call CDC, ask them what they think..

ALL OF HIS FAMILY KNEW AND THEY CONTINUOSLY LIED TO ME OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!!! I HAVE TWO CHILDREN. I DON'T KNOW IF I AM INFECTED, BUT I FEEL SO HURT AND DISGUSTED. IT TOOK MY TO THREATEN HIM WITH THE POLICE BEFORE HE FINALLY CONFESSED!!!!!! I TOLD THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT ABOUT HIM, AND ALSO TOLD HIM I WAS GOING TO CONTACT ANY ONE I KNEW OF THAT HAD ANY PREVIOUS OR FUTURE RELATIONSHIPS WITH HIM AND LET THEM KNOW ABOUT HIS STATUS. I DON'T KNOW IF I AM INFECTED OR NOT. I AM TOO SCARED TO BE CHECKED RIGHT NOW. ALL OF THIS IS HARD TO ACCEPT. I TRUSTED AND CARED FOR THIS PERSON. You know what? You have a serious problem, and if your friend infects any of the people he is sleeping with, you are also to blame!!!!!! I know friendships run deep, but he is committing a serious crime. I call it attempted murder!!!!!!!! It is not fair to those women, their families, (especially the children) or their friends!!! You have a moral obligation to tell them, even if you don't tell them directly!!!!! He obviously does not care that he is murdering people, and that is a crime!!!!!!! I think a closer investigation of your friends death would expose other factors than those you speak of. I'm sorry to hear your friend died in such a way, all the more reason for you to act-up and fight back. Help us find the true cause of deaths such as those of your friend. Your anger could be directed into truly helping those who are faced with a similiar plight as that of your friend. I too have lost friends in the way you described, however upon closer investigation none of them died of HIV or AID$. Hi, I am not trying to knock what you believe, but I have studied the HIV virus in school. I mean I completely understand where you are coming from, but how can you say there is no proof? How can you explain the similar symptoms of all AIDS patients?? How can the doctors predict which opportunistic infections will occur when t-cells start to decline? I mean at first, I can understand people having doubts, but there is too much evidence that points to HIV causing AIDS. I visited the websites you posted and I agree with some of the things said. For instance, I agree that HIV is not a naturally occuring virus. I refuse to believe that a virus living on a monkey all of a sudden decided it wanted to jump onto Africans, and gays after thousands of years of living in peace with them. What happened, did they get pissed of at Africans and gays?? What? Believe me, when my friend was suffering the doctors ran every test possible, and could not find any other virus or bacteria that could cause the t cells to decline. I'm not sure that some people realize that AIDS itself does not cause death. It only weakens the immune system and leaves the body vulnerable to all the bacterias, fungus, and viruses in the world. That's what kills people. I just have a lot of questions on both ends. Yes I do have a lot of anger because until they do find a cure for this disease ( or what ever you want to call it) I think people should do their best not to pass it along to others. I want to know why Magic Johnson is doing so well??? He is taking the medicine, and his viral load is undetectable, and he is living a normal life with normal t-cell levels. I just have a lot of questions. I have been doing a lot of reading since my friend died. I appreciate your info on the websites. I will keep an open mind even though I still lean very heavily toward the HIV=AIDS belief.
