i am 27, female and hiv+

hi, i am 27(my birthday was jan 15) :) female and hiv+ 6 years,
AIDS since march 1995 this time last year i was stil active,
healthy, confident that i was going to be the 1st to beat this
thing after a year with 2 bouts of pcp, rampant infections and
spiraling viral loads i feel like i am very enar the end of my
fight. I always pictured myself fighting froma hopsital bed for
every last second of life. I do not know why i dont feel that way
now, but i am thankful for the peacefulness i am able to find. I
have gotten so much closer with my mother this year. I am so
thankful for that. My daddy and i wwere always close(daddys girl)
and i am glad now i am tht close with my mother i have a
wonderful peace partner, michael, who helps me find peace in the
everyday struggle of med times and nausea. i thank god for him
and for my parents. i hope this is not taken as giving up or
viewed as depressing to some. i guess i am only writing this to
say that i am close to the end of my fight against hiv, and i am
passing the flame to all of you so that noone else mght have to
rite a letter like this in the coming years. thank you for
listening to me ramble:) jesus loves me this i know, for the
bible tells me so (you will never know how hard it was to type

It was good to hear from you Lee Ann. I am in a similar situation
with sickness starting to get the better of me. I am slowing
right down now and becoming a little more relective. There are
lessons to be learnt in all periods of our existence. Your spirit
seems well even when your body is failing. Keep Well. Stephen
