I have a pamphlet that says treatment is slowing the progression of the disease. I thought that treatment was stopping the progression. Which is true, please?

Nothing is 100% guaranteed in the treatment of HIV. Treatment can stop or slow the progression of the disease everyone is different. Progression can stop but eventuallly always start back up again due to resistance, etc..This is a very vague statement.
