I'm just starting treatment and my doctor who does things differently recommended tenofovir...I know it's a new drug. Has anyone any experience with it?

Yup my doctor switched me to tenofovir b/c it is a better drug and seems to act synergistically with other medications. I am on Zerit, tenofovir, and sustiva my VL is undetectable and my cd4 cells have gone between 700-1200 but never lower. Also once daily now for all three meds (though u double up on zerit since the once daily is not out yet but u can take two at nite with other regimen)
Go for it is my advise my cd4% have also been fantastic.
In Austin Texas doin fine.
