Hello,
I'm in the process of writing a screenplay about a character that is HIV+. I have been tested several times and am negative. I will never forget the incredible amount of emotions I experienced just finding out that my test was negative. I am wondering if anyone would be willing to share with me some of their initial emotions and experiences of what those first minutes, hours and days were like after finding out you were HIV positive. I was diagnosed in 1991. I remember walking around in a dissociative state for about 2 weeks, going through life in an absolute daze. No emotion, no tears -- just shock.
