Hello,
Can somebody pls fill me in on this.
I may have caught the HIV Virus. It's EXACTLY 7 weeks after the exposure. There are recurring bad/sore throat, swell-like inflammed area under the tongue. I even had an ulcer on the palate of my mouth lasting about 7 to 10 days. I can dismiss these as normal illness BUT 2 days ago this pain/discomfort (refer below) made me change my notion.
Beginning 8 Jun 99, on the left side of body (area far from the belly button) has been in "pulling" pain. This pain is best described as sort of contracting and its very DISCOMFORTING, like inflammation sensation. It is discomforting when I'm sitting also.
The pained area mentioned, is it where the SPLEEN is located ? Where is the "precise" location of the spleen?
Can primary acute HIV infection "ATTACKS" the spleen, now that the spleen is working to fight off the infection? Will it swell? Will one side of the body be more noticeable than the other with such swelling?
What are the physical signs of such an early attack? In the midst of all these, I'm feeling feverish too.
Will anyone advise?
Thanks.
