how many pills?

Hello, I am HIV positive and go to doc next week. Probably start on meds. I would like and idea of how many pills I will have to take. I know it depends but I'm just curious how many so of you take. I know its not like it used to be taking loads of pills. Please respond, it may relieve a little of my anxiety.

Hey there,

I know how you feel and not many people like taking loads of pills. I'm on Sustiva and Combivir. I take 4 pills (3 Sustiva 200mg and 1 Combivir) at night and one (Combivir) in the morning, However they have just released a new Sustiva 600 mg pill so that will cut the night pills down to just 2.

Hi, this is my first time on this site...i have been diagnosed jan.4th, i have been started on:viramune 200mm (one a day for 2 weeks) then start taking an extra one a day which makes 400mm) and bombivir tablets (2 a day) so, i started-on weekends (nights)and did not get too much side effects, make sure u eat something before even if not much (rice, crakers, toast) i started increasing this week end and so far so good!!! my cd4 count was 378 (i am not in too bad of a shape but, still)
The sky has fallen on my head!
I was applying for term life insurance, got rejected etc.
since we are both starting on this (route) would you to like to exchange some messages here for now?
maybe we can help each ohter thru this since we are both new at it?
