Insurance carrier in NY/CT?

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone knows of insurance carriers in the NY/CT area that are particularly good to deal with if you have HIV? Or any that I should avoid? My COBRA policy is running out soon, my new employer doesn't provide insurance and I need to find a new health plan to get on. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Oxford provides good HIV care. So does blue cross. (in my expereince)
If you cannot get insurance...I know that in New York there are great free clinics! And ADAP covers all drugs if you make under$40,000 ayear.

If you live in New York State, you could consider getting ADAP insurance, it will cover anything related to your HIV treatment, as well as any dental, optical, or other medical needs you may have, I have it and it is a great program
