Insurance and job change

I am entertaining an offer for a new job. I'm lucky enough to be able to continue working and have not been categorized as "disabled." My concern is seamless medical coverage. Can I do COBRA for 12 months and then move into the new health plan? Anyone done this? Thanks.

My understanding is that as long as your previous insurance company provides proof that you have been treated for pre-existing condition, you should be fine. I beleive there is a form they will complete for you. Hope this helps........
