I am a lawyer with a single parent father client. His child is 9 months old and HIV posiitive at this time. Since the child's birth he has not had custody and has only seen the child a few times. The Children's Protective Service has the child in a foster home. We are fighting in court to get his child back. CPS says he would not be able to care for the child as a single parent.

We are in Houston, Texas.
