Heat and neck tension

Hello. Anyone got any cures for neck tension. This is such a challenge for me and gives me headaches, mood swings and dizzy spells. Even regular visits to the chiropractor are providing less and less help. Anyone else have this? My docs keep saying this is stres-related and to do more meditation and relaxation. How much more can a boy do!
Does anyone else have a heat problem in their body? My head can be burning up, yet I have no fever when I take my temperature. This will often happen a few times a day. it is getting better, but that heat is a real problem. Does this sound familiar to anyone.
Am on no meds at present, so it can't be a med side-effect.
Please help out if you can. Thanks.

My doctor first sent me to a nurologest to check and see if it
were a problem like a tumor or infection. After that he perscribed
ELAVIL in 10mg. doses at bedtime. He told me that in low doses (10,20, or 30mg.) was used as a muscle relaxer for the neck muscles.
But in higher doses ( 100,200, or 300mg.) it was used for anti-depresents. Ask yer dock & see.
