My strain of HIV is resistant (not completely)

I found out my strain of HIV is resistant to one entire class of meds (Can't remember the name of the class, but the Dr explained it was the one where you only take 1 pill a day) I almost wanted to cry knowing I have a resistant form of HIV, I didn't though but I still find it scary
I am going to be going on a drug cocktail of Truvada, and 2 others of which I cannot remember at this time (the paper isn't in front of me) Now I am getting all this done via the Orange County health dept. here in Orlando but am thinking of switching to the Orlando Immunology Center (after a poz coworker referred me to it) he told me that everything is taken care of and that they help you with ADAP and get you on meds a lot faster than the health dept which has been giving me the runaround since September
Has anybody else found their strain was resistant? And does anybody think I should leave the health dept for the Immunology Center?

If you feel lead to switch then do so . You can always switch back . I go to my health dept. and yes there are drawbacks even though the people are great. And since I don't have any complications I feel ok with them . But you seem a bit unhappy with your HD so go ahead and see how the other is. Nothing to lose and perhaps something to gain . All the best in however you decide to go.
