I've have short term memory loss for sometime now. There actually something called mushbrain syndom , for those that take alot of meds. But you'll just have to learn to focus more on the thinngs you do. I spend alot of time ooking for my coffee cup . lol Write alot of notes but forget where I put them , lol but it's never anything really serious. It's just something that drives my husband crazy. lol

Hi what meds are you on? I am on Atripla and have memory loss but I believe it has started before use of it. Age factors most likely. I never make notes as I loose everthing!

Don't let it bring any fears. Most memory loss is over minor things. I can't remember names unless I attach something to it that helps me to remember . I park my car in the same area when I shop, I triple check for my keys . You get use to it. But even when you do forget just take a deep breath and thank the good Lord that He knows where to find ya.

Green tea can also help provide some protection for the brain. I drink as much as I can and I think it helps.

hi yes mine started a couple of years ago. i'd been positive for 8 years with no symptoms. so the memory stuff prompted my doctor to get me started on intellence and epzicom as well as multivitamin supplements and it has improved a lot but still annoying at times and causes some feelings of reclusiveness they say that could be a common symptom of hiv affecting you called "apathy". No age is not a factor I'm 39.
