Well this time last year when i got my physical for the year and had my pap smase done the results of it was i had an yeast infected and so this year it`s the same thing again with me another yeast infected so now i`am taking metronidazole 500mg one tablet twice a day for 7 days.but i don`t know where i`am catching this infection from because i`ve had sex with no one since i was diagnose in 2010,so i don`t understand what`s going on with my vignal.

You don't have to catch a yeast infection from anyone. Yeast is naturally occurring in a woman's body. When the body is out of balance, yeast overgrows and creates an infection. I have often had this issue when taking other medications. It is also said that with HIV it is more common to have yeast infections. In the past I have taken a probiotic and it gotten things back in balance for me.
