Did you take off the condoms to get pregnant?

Achieve, a publication of ACRIA and GMHC, is looking for stories from people with HIV or their partners who have taken off the condoms in order to have a child. If you did, could you email me? You don’t have to use your real name. Here are some questions we have:
Why did you do that instead of using approved methods like sperm washing, etc.?
Who was positive – the man or the woman?
Was the viral load undetectable?
Did you ask your doctor? What was the response?
Were you both equally comfortable stopping the condoms?
How often and for how long did you have the condoms off?
Did you try to use PrEP?
Did you share meds?
Did it work?
Anything else that would be interesting is welcome!
