I was tested positive last December 2010 (CD4=11), and was utterly devastated. My whole world came to a halt --- career, plans, everything. I thought that was the end of it. In my recent blood test, my CD4 is now up to 88. I could've never been happier. Yes, there is still hope. Thing is, I've been literally under house arrest all these months, and so I'm in sort of a bubble. With my CD4 higher now, will it be safe for me to go out again into the world and start building my life again? Can I go back to work? I'm scared for my CD4 to go down again if I go out and face the stresses of real world again --- every last one of my T-cells do matter to me now. Advice please?

just a thought, i would want to have a higher cd4 count before i would get back to going out and risking my health, having a low cd4 makes it easier to get sicker, and easier to catch something and hurt your immune system. work on a higher cd4. take care
