Article on living with HIV

Hello,
My name is Ryan Handy and I am journalist from Columbia University. I am writing an article that focuses on the lives of HIV patients, and discusses everything from dealing with side effects of HIV medications, to adjusting one's life style to deal with the disease.
I am looking to talk to people who have been recently diagnosed OR who have been living with HIV for a while. I would like to interview these individuals for my article, and talk to them candidly about their quality of life, or opinions they may have on the current state of HIV treatment.
I am looking for individuals who live in New York City. I will try to freelance the article when it is completed, however, I cannot pay interviewees.
