HIV is making my dreams come true!

I know -- it may sound strange. Been involved in broadcasting for more than twelve years. Loved and hated it. Diagnosed HIV positive in 1998. Came out to my family and friends in 2001. Now I am attempting to convince people to get tested and know their status through my NPO using broadcasting medium. The doors which have often remained closed with other projects are opening wide open with the subject of HIV. Management people who often remained aloof wanna meet and develop programmes with me on the issue. It is times like this I ask myself -- did I really get this virus for a reason -- is God using me as a tool --- or my skills in broadcasting were meant to be used for this, at this moment in time. With no answer I merely thank God for this moment. To be able to help other people, to be able to FINALLY enjoy broadcasting. Who would have known it would take HIV to land me here, making my dreams come true, my career fulfillment. It is bitter sweet, but I 'love' the taste.
