I just ended a relationship of one year because my health has taken a different toll and it seemed like my ex could not deal with it. My problem is that he knew about my AIDS status from the beginning and chose not to protect himself, he claims to be -. He is seeing someone else at this time and I'm concerned that he may be having sex without protection and possibly infecting other people.

JT, not to hurt or say anything hurtfull but how sure are you he is negative? Have you seen his results from bloodwork tests? you have made a decision to move on with your life don't you think that it is time to forget what he is doing with his life and concentrate on you for once as it is about you now and your health comes first not stressing about what he is doing. He is your ex after all he has moved on by the sounds of your message here.

I tested positive in Jan 2010 I have been with my husband for almost 4 years. We have NEVER used protection, and he's negative. From what I've been told it's a lot harder for a woman to pass it onto a man then it is for a man to pass it to a woman. He might be negative.
If he is not, there is nothing you can do to protect the women he's sleeping with. You should focus on taking care of yourself.
