eyes ,lights and mucous

my eyes are painful ,especially when bright lights and they stay red. I have mucous in my chest and my doc says nothing is wrong can anyone relate. I have been on atripila for a little over 2 years . I have hep c..but none of this is related to the diseases so says my docs, i am ready to go into the hospital to be a case study..

You didn't say what your CD4 count is,but if it's low you could get something called CMV retinitas.Get checked by an eye doctor and be sure to tell him/her that you are HIV+.It could be anything from a cold or allergies to the CMV,but get it checked because it's not worth the risk of losing your vision.

You mentioned mucous. Do you have wheezing? I haven't noticed any redness in the eyes but I definitely have wheezing.
