Triple digits twice in 3 years
      #246129 - 06/15/09 02:12 PM

When i finally got on the ball and decided to continue my medication regimen after a drug vacation of nearly two years (yes, I was naive, in denial and feeling quite well up until a certain point) I was at a CD4 count of 1. That was back in June 06. I came up to 127 about a year ago but for the most part I've been a double digit person during my regimen. Of course having MAC hasn't been helpful either. I went to the doctor early this week and found I had shot from a CD4 count in the mid 70's to 164 in a 2 and a half month period. I'm not holding my breath as this could be another temporary spike, this is, after all, only the second time I've been in the triple digits.

But I am optimistic!!!!

With double digit cd4 counts did you find yourself getting sick or showing signs/symptoms? I haven't started taking meds, still waiting to see the doctor(my cd4 is currently 139). It is good to know that your cd4 counts can rise even after decreasing. I hope this is more just a spike in your cd4 count. Good Luck!!
