I don't know if its just me who has experienced this, would sort of like to know.
I'm 19 years old and have HIV since i was born. I won't get into all the stuff I've been through...because everyone has their own battles...mine probably pales in comparison. I will however mention I now have no toes (seriously), due to recent sickness...but all my counts are now good, I can play hockey and run no problems.
I have disclosed to all my friends my status. Most have been very supportive. Recently I heard about a ex friend who has been telling a lot of people I do not wish to know about me having HIV. As far as I have been able to research there is no way for me to stop him from disclosing my health information to others without my consent. I have looked up many different sections of the Canadian law code...but to no avail.
If anyone has any info that can help me...or even advice on how i should deal with it. i would appeciate it.
