Hi all -
I was wondering if I can get your take on something.
I'm a researcher learning about HIV and how to help people better manage HIV and AIDS. I was wondering, do people in the community track data? Viral load, CD4 count etc. Does anyone know their WHO stage of HIV/AIDS and also, when you go to the doctor are you ever aware of them using the MOS-HIV to assess your health over time? does that mean anything to you?
Any help would be really appreciated. Many thanks!!

I track my own labwork by (1) getting a copy of everything ALWAYS and (2) have a Microsoft Excel chart of all of it. Its easier for me to track and helps my MD. My ID doctor has her own tracking sheet in my "shadow" chart (thats the ID chart that stays with them only). I knew (and still know) my stage by WHO standards though we don't necessarily use that as a criteria for treatment. Hope this helps.
