Night sweats and your significant other

I am having night sweats again. For the unitiated these are profound perspirations that occur at night that leave your PJs and sheets wringing wet. Not so bad in itself, but what to do if you share your bed with someone?
I wear cotton PJs to bed and was wondering if flannels would work better. Maybe chuck fashion and sleep in a flannel shirt and flannel loungers with thick socks since a lot of the sweat comes from my feet.
Anyone with experience in this regard?

Oh Charles, I can't say I have any experience...but the first thing that popped into my mind when reading your post was I think you'd sweat MORE in Flannel with big ol' socks on...now, I understand that heat isn't the cause of the night sweats...but would it exacerbate them? Just a thought. Hope you find some way to deal with this. You're in my thoughts and prayers sweetie.

HI Charles Sorry to hear about the night sweats. My partner and I havent slept in the same bed for a number of years. Mostly due to my snoring but also due to the fact that he wasnt sleeping well due to the meds. So, have you considered separate beds?

Sorry Scot, I know that when I posted you gave me advice, but I can't help you with this one. I never wear anything in bed - the top tries to strangle me and the pants try to castrate me. And, even though I won't go to bed with a woman again I still want that thing hanging between my legs - will it ever come in handy again?????????????
