I am thinking of switching to Atripla but I heard it was a big tablet. Does anyone know how it compares to Kaletra Tablets? Appreciate the advice.

I just started Atripla 7 days ago. I dont have any drugs to compare it to because this is my first med. To me it was a standard size pill just a little thicker then your gel caps. THANK GOD I have only had very very very minor side effects. I take it at night and in the morning I wake up and feel pretty drowsy, all day at work and the drug so far does not were off until about 4PM the next day. Sad thing is, by 10:30 or 11PM its time to take the drug again. NO NIGHTMARES. NO VOMITTING. NO SICKNESS! Just dizzy, oh and at times I have woken up to go to the bathroom and can tell the drug is really taking its toll on me, gotta hold on to the walls otherwise I'll spin like they are spinning lol. Thats just my testimonial. I have been blessed as I have read others really have very bad side effects.

I take it and it is about as large as a Centrum Multivitamin. No big deal.

Its almost been 3 weeks and I am doing great on the Atripla thank God. I have my first doctors appointment 12/6 to do labs to see how well my body is responding to the medication. I am so glad the brunt of the minor side effects I experienced are over. I'll keep everyone posted.
