Anyone know of immigration policies to the EU? I know that if I want to get a long term visa in some countries that you are required to provide a health check up from your dr. Anyone know of the policies? Any information would be great. thanks!

Be sure the EU policies about imigration have nothing to do with you being positive or negative, HIV as well as any other disease can't be an excuses of refusal entry or visa this can be the case in th US. but not in Europe

Hi, most EU countries, if not all of them, will ask that you undergo a full medical examination if you wish to immigrate to their country. This includes an HIV test. However, being HIV + is not grounds for refusal as it is in the US. THe most important thing is of course that you have employment in the EU. You should also thoroughly research the healthcare system of the country you plan to immigrate to as well as insurance policies. If you are employed and able to pay for your medical care, it should not be a problem. I would suggest however that you get in touch with an immigration lawyer in the country you wish to move to. Best of luck to you !
