New labs - sort of
      #199922 - 07/13/06 05:29 PM

Well, I had my second set of labs drawn 7/03/06. Went to my doctor last night, and the CD4 is not back yet. Viral load is falling, down to 15,000 from 43,000 3 months ago. Doctor is pleased with that. Concerned that I am anemic - but I always have tended towards that. He said it can influence the disease process down the road. Only other abnormal lab was my total protein, which is slightly high - he explained why (although I can't retell the details - has to do with lymphocytes & albumin) and said we'll just watch it.

My arm is still healing - got the cast off Tuesday, just have a wrist splint now. Huge scars, still painful, going to physical therapy.

Congratulations DJ on your numbers (if the doctor is pleased, that's a good sign).

Hopefully, your arm will continue healing, and you'll be ready to punch someone's lights out if needed. :)

dj, Considering what has been going on.. Not bad at all... Curious to know your cd4 and percentages... Your cd4's have definately begun to rebound with the vl going the direction its going... How much remains to be scene without the two other figures...

Love

Thanks everybody - I am planning to check with the doctor next week to get the CD4 and percentage - he said allow 2 full weeks from 7/03 when they were drawn.
