I'm trying to find statistics, studies, any sort of research done regarding the benefits of organized groups for those affected by HIV/AIDS. Specifically in Texas would be great, but otherwise is fine as well!
Anybody familiar with this sort of info or where I could find it?!

Your local ASO (Aids Service Organization). Not sure about what kind of studies they would have.....
As far as support, ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL just as HIV/AIDS internet sites give emotional support, care and guideance to those LIVING WITH, or RECEINTLY DIAGNOSED.
Best
