Hi,
I was also having problems with concentration and analytical thought. It turns out that I was severely hypothyroid (TSH 15). My doctor has increased my dose of synthroid and my symptoms have all but disappeared.
Just wanted to let you know in case you might be experiencing the same effect.

My problems seem to be primarily related to high levels of ferritin, although I have a slightly underactive thyroid and some slight brain deterioration in the center top portion of my brain.
I am learning to live with all, the ferritn levels are very easy to correct.
