They can live a long time under proper doctors care as many kids who were born with the disease are now in their late teens and 20's and beyond. They just need to do what any person with HIV does and keep their vl under control and take the meds religiously if warranted.

It is just like anyone. Thet can live a normal life expectancy as long as they adhere to the medication and listen to the doctor. Especially with how things are changing every year.

Not enough information here for anyone to make any assumptions........about the children. I read of a gay couple who foster parented HIV positive children in Florida *( kids no one else would take in) and the children grew up to be healthy and if not mistaken..... HIV NEGATIVE.
