Just back from the dentist
      #177632 - 02/28/06 11:09 AM

Well, I have not gone to the dentist in about 15 years. No cavities surprisingly but got my teeth cleaned and they said I need to go back for a deep cleaning. You know, numb me and do one quadrant at a time. I am no good with pain. Luckily I do not go back until April so I get my vacation in there to forget about it for awhile. My teeth feel weird now because I had so much calculi on them and now it is gone. They look almost the same though, makes me wonder if it was worth it.

I know how you feel. Just shoot me up with whatever pain med you, gas me, sedate me, play music, just get it over. I used to go to a hygenist in San Francisco who did all the celebs teeth - Danielle Steel, Don Johnson, Robin Williams, Francis Ford Coppola. She kept me in giggles with her stories of how bad their teeth were, while kindly administering nitrous oxide for the pain.

Call around, they have to have some sort of license thingy for it and some of them are too cheap to get it.

For guys, nitrous oxide is one of the chemicals involved in giving us erections, so NO2 can give rise to some interesting fantasies. I used to fantasize that my dental hygenist was my mistress of pain while I was under the gas. Good fun.

You want an erection? You ladies are much better engineered than us guys. We guys are prone to mechanical defects and wear and tear on the working bits. Just now my carbeurator is out of order and my plugs are corroded, so I'm a bear to start and prone to stalling. I would love an overhaul, but the doc says that STP (i.e. viagra) would do my engine a mischief, so I'm only dependable for short jaunts to the corner shop and even then you may have to abandon me in the parking lot because of ignition failure.

Oh to be a new sporty model fresh from the showroom floor, instead of an old Nova with a lot of dings and a bad engine.
