cold sores....

Hi all,Iam unaware of my hiv status, about 3 months ago(while under alot of stress) i got tiny white bumps on my upper lip and some in the corner of my mouth, I thought that it might of been cold sores, but 3 months later they haveint grown,they haveint burst,crust anything at all.
My question is could this be herpes, I thought herpes were supposed to last only a couple weeks. Would someone with hiv have herpes for this long.

Good grief! Just make an appointment with your doctor. I do not understand all these people who will ask absolute strangers who are not medical people at all for help diagnosing their illnesses. See a physician.

Why are you such a smart a**? MAYBE these people are reaching out to this website cause they are SCARED of going anyplace else?!? MAYBE they are looking for some advice from people who have been there? What's wrong with that?

THERE IS NO WAY TO KNOW FOR SURE UNLESS YOU GET TESTED.I KNOW TWSTING CAN BE VERY SCARING AND I AM RIGHT THERE WITH YOU BUT THINK OF IT THIS WAY. YOU WILL EVENTUALLY FIND OUT ONE WAY OR ANOTHER AND IF YOU DO HAVE IT IT IS BETTER TO KNOW SOONER IN ORDER TO GET ON GOOD MEDS. IF YOU ARENT INFECTED YOU CAN PUT YOUR MIND TO REST. TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR FEARS BECAUSE LIFE WILL GO ON NO MATTER WHAT
