The nurse in my doctor office is a crazy murderer she purposely used a dirty neddle to infect me because I complained to the doctor about her habit not to wear gloves or whash her hands. My test is ready but the specialist has not call back yet ,I am afraid he wants to give me the bad new personally.I am feeling better now ,still feveresh but I took a couple of sleeping pills... they relax me..Don't you too think that the notion that sombody you trust (because they are in an healthcare setting )could maliciously infect you with a deadly disease is so hard to belive that if my test turns out positive I will be in denial so absurd that is.Go for a phisical and get a death sentence from some mean crazy nurse!!I would like to know other fellows opinion in the matter

I did not know obviously that the needle was dirty she is a nurse and I would never have believed she could try murder anybody. But the act of shieding herself from my sight when I was triyng to see what she was doing did arise my suspicion a little but I have ocd so I thougth I was being too suspicious ...she is a nurse in a reputable doctor office for heaven sake I do not think that just because I asked to whash her hands and complained to the doctor she would maliciously use an infected needle..the thought seemed a paranoid one untill to weeks later I developed ars my antybody test is still neg . at 5 weeks but the specialist has not so good news I fear...I hope this nightmare goes away and I am just being a paranoid. Please I do not need to have anybody beating me up for trusting a nurse in a doctor office I think it is what everybody does all the time and I just hope nothing is wrong with me You sound like a person that does not have much sensitivity ...in front of the tragedy of another human being life you mention silly things

I am trying to make some sense of Your post and I do have sympathy for many who were infected in such a way and who have OCD, as my brother is one of them and I do know how hard that must be BUT You must get over this fear that You have that this nurse possibly infected You with the HIV virus.......Go and talk to a healthcare professional, maybe the one You see already for the OCD and get some help....pleaseeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!! And may I just say one more thing?
***PLEASE STOP TAKING SLEEPING PILLS FOR THIS SITUATION YOU FEEL HAS OCCURED AND GO SEEK SOME HELP***
Sleeping pills are not Your answer....Nor will they help You think any clearer about the situation whether true or false....You absolutely need more help and it does not sound that HIV counseling is what You need......Wishing You nothing but the best ......

I'd say anything is possible with people. Everyone trusted Jeff Dahmer and Ted Bundy and look where that led them. Aids2Hiv is getting a bit tiring with his or her god complex. I wouldn't listen to anything he or she says.

I think there is something weird about this post. I think the way you say she did use a dirty needle and then you say you think. I am a little confused as to if you even thought she was why would you let her. Complaining or not about her washing her hands, if you thought for any reason she was going to do this why would you let her do anything to you. Also, what Dr do you goto. When I go to the Dr, as soon as she is done drawing my blood or giving me my shot, they throw it right in the biohazard container that is every room in the Dr. office. I have never watched a Dr or nurse walk out of the room with my "dirty needle". Also, once you put it in there, there is no getting it out until the men come to dump it and still would be almost immpossible to get out. Please clarify how she had this infected needle? Fran

I thanks you for your understanding.I believe that the majority of people are incapable of such an action, I myself could not kill a fly but you hear all kind of stories out there and it is actually unusual for a nurse to shield herself while preparing the staff to draw patient's blood. Also somebody very close to me got infected with hepatite c in a medical setting ...Few months ago an hospital had to call all the patients that underwent a colonoscopy because they missed sterilizing the equipment and one patient had hiv.I know that is quite different from purposely infecting somebody...but that gets some people a little concerned ...Anyway I still have a fever, anorexia, and it might be freaking coincidence but the timing and her resentment and secreteness in performing such a routine action had me sweating cold. The hiv test was neg. but I am still sick and triyng to figure out what 's wrong with me..I appreciate that somebody does understand a concern for my fears.I do NOT get suspicious of anybody and yes perhaps I should have asked to get an other unopened package but I thought it would be like accusing her and I am to sensitive to do that Asking an health care worker to wash their hands or use gloves after observing THE FACT that they have not done so it's something I do not have a problem with but, I am simply to sensitive to tell somebody I do not trust you get an other unopened needle. That is why I sneaked around and ...she shielded herself! I should have kindly asked why was she shielding herself and not worry my problem is that I wouldn't dare offend somebody but I have to change my well being ( phisical or simply mental )should be my concern

Jessie, the world out there is full of people with irrational fears just look at the postings!! .There are people out there that are afraid of cacthing hiv from toilet seats, lap dances, holding hands ... the waiter might bleed in their food or water !! .My fear is born out of the fact that the dirty needles might transmitt viruses and that the nurse was shielding herself and I got sick for real!I am not asking a nurse to perform a strange ritual by simply opening the damn package in front of me !You know about the sign in the hospitals? Ask us to wash our hands we care... the small print should read but we'll get pissed .!!

Hi all, I know it is difficult to "respect" when someone with OCD questions things at extreme length. I know because I had been in therapy a long time for OCD. I didn't have the type that believed people were poisoning me and such, but I was really freaked out about certain things and really believed the OCD (opposed to reality). It is tough. Because when people are believing stuff and writing it out, they really really truely believe it. It is a hard disorderfor other people not to get frustrated over. But I agree with getting therapy for the OCD.Good luck, Jenn

Now, Now, Lets not get testy....I was simply stating in my post that this may NOT be all that the original poster(YOU) where worried about or had other issues to deal with as well....Nobody is saying that You are right or wrong, especially me. I was not there in the room with You or the murdering nurse(so You claim) so I cannot judge You, nor am I trying to..I am simply and politly staing that maybe You should seek some other type of help for Your OCD as well...
If You choose to take it another way, then so be it! I cannot change your mind Nor do I want to or plan on sitting here in a debate over this with You when there are many people here that really need some help, a friend to listen to them, a shoulder to cry on, a phone call or a realistic way of looking at different points of view from others who have been infected as well....
If You still have a problem with this "MURDERING NURSE" then press charges and move on with Your life .....Best of luck to You......~Jessie~
P.S.-Please do NOT preach to me in the future about how others may or may not feel about HIV+ peeps...I am well aware and very educated as far as the illness is concerned and do not need a lesson in HIV+101 from You....Thank You!=)))))

I just worry that the needle might be used or the nurse might be crazy if she acts that way and I need to see that the package gets opened in front of me ,what's the harm!I only go to the doctor once a year I do not have fears in my everday life !Why don't you ever attack the ww that are afraid to get hiv from a lapdance! And I do not make up symptoms I had a fever for past three weeks and anorexiaI started looking like a guy version of the skinny Olsen twin.

I don't think anyone is claiming you are bogus in your story. I think what we, well me, is trying to figure out is where did she get the needle from? I don't see my nurse pull a needle out and unwrap it all the time but I do see her throw mine in a biohazerdous container when she is done. That is my main statement here. Normally and routinly that is what they do. Why would this nurse have one stashed just for you? I beleive that it is right in you wanting her to wash her hands. That is smart. As for symptoms, you may just be getting a cold or flu, symptoms don't necessarily mean HIV. Good luck.
