Anybody read this book, what is your conclusion concerning the natural cure?

A friend had the book, and since I am interested natural treatments.. I borrowed the book to read.. My opinion, what a joke it was... There was not really any new information in the book(or really any information at all). All it did was refer you to his website for all the 'answers' and 'natural cures' .. A web site which you have to pay to join to get any info... after you have already payed for the book ?? Seemed like a scam to me.. And I have read, as the previous post said, he has been in trouble for fraud and such... Just my opinion, but I wouldnt waste my money.

This man is a known and proven fraud, simply put. He uses the little guy against big Pharma idea (david and golliath like) to push his book.
Many reputable stores have taken a stand and actually no longer carry his book.
For some reason the snake oil he pushes comes off as altruistic. When the true fact is there is no altruism, he is in this 'business' to only make money. The same man who is trying to "save' us from evil pharma was also the man who was jailed for fraud.
Yes drug companies make an obscene amount of money, but they also use that money into finding new medicines to extend our lives and imporve our quality of living. Large manufacturers of natural products also make HUGE amounts of money on their products. The main difference between these supplements and actual prescription drugs is the supplements do not have to proove that they work!
They both have side effects, they both have drug interactions, and in many cases are comparable in price!
Some are amazing, some do what they say they do, but not all of them. If all supplements were that effective, why wouldnt Pfizer, Zeneca, etc patent a formulation of it? (They did patent one so far, because it does work, that one is Omacor, which is Omega-3) Simple answer, they don't because when a drug company puts out a prescription, they have to proove its effectiveness and many are unproovable.
Sorry to go on a tangent. Simple answer, don't allow this man to make any more money off of his shennanigans.

I give kevin the benefit of the doubt that he is right that we are being bombarded by negative thoughts and since people did well after recieving small doses of measels and chicken pox and such that the educated has fallen into the trap thinking that we need to attack acidically diseases. The body heals when well ballenced. to attack all these we need to alkalize our bodies and take in much needed minerals that the food companies won't give us and won't tell us about. They think there would be mass hysteria but this is worse we are lying to the people and living in dispare trying to do things thinking need to donate money when the pharmacuticle companies have more than enough but they spend it on drugs basically acidic poisons that get stronger and stronger. This gets into the water suppy and poisons the soil more to take more nutrients out of the soil. Farmers ad acidic fertalizers to increase production when they do this there is less nutrition in more crop. People feel like they are doing something to help but it saves one while helping kill others. Yes, kevin and others MUST ACT NOW EVEN IF IT MEANS PRISON AND LAWSUITS AS LONG AS PEOPLE GET TO LIVE.

He was on 20/20 or dateline this week and he has misled alot of people.

Have you tryed any of the things he mentioned? Have you kept from the foods he has talked about? Maybe before you pass judgement you should try these things. He has claimed only to be a reporter on what he sees as the truth. How is that misleading and needing a lawsuit? You know what? Pharma has recalled so many drugs , that I trust them even less than Kevin. At least he is saying what is on his mind and letting you know that he has a charge for the website. The stinking FDA and USDA probably are still making good businesses do the runaround and then making them go out of business for extending the patents on drugs that are harming people. By word of mouth I am adding my voice to those against drug companies. Though they are basically underground groups, those blessed by God will overcome any big lies told by the mislead world.
