Looking for Good HIV Specialist in North LA

It is open season on health benefits at work and I am considering switching from PacifiCare HMO to a Blue Cross/Blue Shield Fee for Service Plan. Primarily, I want to do this so I can get some control over my healthcare, and choose my providers. With PacifiCare, I have had a doctor who misdiagnosed PCP as asthma and a Videx reaction as gallstones; a urologist who did a urethracope without anesthesia when I had a badly infected prostate; a liver specialist who told me to wait and see if my liver tumors got bigger before doing anything; and a surgeon who after two botched attempts couldn't get a workable liver sample for biopsy.

So....anyone know of a good doctor or group. I've heard Nieberg in Pasadena is good.

This is a great resource, thanks. Using this resource, I found a practice in Hollywood that uses a team of specialists with experience in AIDS effects. As AIDS and ageing combine, we get a myriad of problems such as heart disease, digestive malfunctions, cancers and cognitive changes, that require treatment from professionals with the latest knowledge and techniques.

As a bonus, hospitalization is at two sites with dedicated AIDS sections in good locations in Burbank next to Disney HQ and in the Hollywood Hills. Finally, I can get care from competent doctors in decent surroundings.
