kissing risks
      #155971 - 06/07/05 12:54 PM

After I recently tested positive I began dating someone that is also, we are careful still not to pass different strand, ect. I had to have two teeth pulled, I thought they were all healed up but noticed them bleeding the last few days.. My question is, what are the chance I could have passed my strand to my partner by deep kissing before I knew they were not healed? My viral load is fairly low. very worried.
thanks.

There would have to be alot of blood for that to happen. I wouldnt worry if I were you.

SHould be ok. The danger does not seem to be in passing different strains, but passing drug resistance. Have you been tested for durg resistance? Has your partner been tested?

In any case, it's a low risk.
