I just received information about Life Insurance that might be helpful to someone who is HIV+. I have located a High Risk Insurance Company which is called IMPAIRED RISK SPECIALIST INC. The company has a plan called E.Z. 123 HIV.
The requirements are as follows:
You have to be between the ages of 21-49
your CD4 cells have to be 400 are better
Vigil load under 20,000
This package is permanent insurance and with medical documentations they will expedite your claim. In addition the policies start at $10,000 to $ 250,000. The toll free number for information is 1-800-285-3279. Also you can locate the info. on the internet.
Everyone is not eligible, including myself, but thank god I already had insurance before I took my first test and was diagnosed with AIDS on November, 2000. I hope this information will help individuals who are concerned about life Insurance.
P.S.
I have a friend that is positive who applied for Life insurance after the fact. She enrolled in a plan that does not require a medical or blood test.
