I am curious about anyone's experience in securing health insurance for themselves outside of a company's plan. Also, if you have used a company's insurance but you had to pay a high copay for prescriptions, did you use a health care spending account. I appreciate any advice or personal experience you could share.

I don't really know the answer, but I would definitly call your nearest hiv clinic they can help with answers for your area. If you don't know any look up aids hotline in the phonebook. Or call a sexual health clinic they can usually give numbers out. Good Luck.
