Can anyone tell me about 1st hand experience with Sculptra. I'd like to know how many visits, and followup after initial treatment, how server was the wasting to begin with, are you happy with the outcome. My partner and I have been together for 23 years, he has been Pos since 1982. Jeffrey...

It's a good product, but not permanent, and can require several injections for the right correction. I would suggest using bio-alcamid - for a little bit more money, you are getting a permanent correction and it feels really natural.

I have a friend who had Scupltra injected for facial wasting. After all the injections were done and the swelling went down, he looked great. But, in a year's time, the Sculptra started to harden in spots in his face. It continues to. Since then I've read up on it (because I had been interested in it as well) and I've read a lot of medical reports stating that this is a problem with the product that they haven't been able to work out yet. If I were you guys, I'd check out other options. None of them is permanent, so, you'll have to go back every year or so no matter what you use. But, from what I know and have read so far (as above), I'd avoid Sculptra. Seems like you might be turning in one problem for another.
Best of luck to you!
