Can a guy living with Hepatitus C and passes it to his wife will his baby be born with Hepatitus C?

my husband and i both have hep c and want to eventually become pregnant. i was told by a specialist that it is extremely rare to transmit it through sex and there is less than a 5% chance of passing it to a fetus.
