Anti viral drugs + alcohol

Is there any information that due to the effect of anti viral combination treatments that the liver& kidneys cannot process alcohol as quickly ?

Alcohol Lowers CD4, Thus Making Meds inable to Work properly... This is what my HIV specialist told me about drinking as I got back into drinking once I found out the terrible news...
Not sure about the liver and stuff, but I do know alcohol does damage the liver and the liver filters out poisons from your body, you may wish to have a fully funtionable liver in the future.
