Need help with testing from the pros

I had a recent exposure (unprotecd vaginal and oral) with a woman of unknown status. I want to get tested but I'm not sure which route to choose and how long to wait. I have talked with several testing facilities and my doctor and I'm still confused becuase they all give conflicting information. Should I wait and test 3 months with ELISA or 1 month with PCR? If PCR, which one at this point DNA or RNA? What about oral sure and home access. How reliable are they after 3 months. I am a normal healthy male in mid 30's with no real health issues so how long would it take for my body to produce antibodies? Please need direction from the pros.
