Here is a general query.
Two guys , Mark and Jack live an the Bahamas having fun and frolicking all day long. Mark the smarter one has himself vaccinated against hepatitis the same day Jack gets infected. Both meet each other at the STD testing center. Both have antibodies against Hepatitis that the clinic test will be looking for, so the results come out. Both have the disease hepatitis, as they both have developed antibodies. Right ?

Well it depends HEP antibodies will show if one is infected or if one is immune. It's the bands that matter and when the test is read the lab should distinguish between the readings. Please note you are not immune until at least the second shot. It takes 6 months for the full series of 3 shots for HEB-B
