I have just been told by my doctor that my screen test for HIV came back positive but the Western Blot Test was indeterminate. Does anyone know what my chances are of having this "False Positive" turn out to be nothing? I have already had blood drawn for a second test but I won't hear anything for a week. What could cause a test result like this besides HIV?

Most likely you have not completed seroconverting yet. The western blot takes longer to show positive bands than the screening Elisa test.
The only other scenario would be pregnancy which is a long shot.
