If I injested precum and my mouth was completely healthy is there anyway to get hiv? Also, what if I have some bleeding of the gums when brushing, but I hadn't brushed since the morning? thanks

Hello Anonymous,
Unprotected oral sex caries a small risk for HIV only in quite extreme situations. It's good that the boy did not ejaculate in your mouth to be on the safe side. If you have a minor wound on your gums because of brushing teeth, it will not increase risk a lot. Rather think about recovering gums after treatment at the dentist. There are only a very few proven cases wherein HIV infection has taken place through oral sex. With other STD's it's different!
But with health it's always better to be on the safe side. Why not from now on only perform protected oral sex, so you don't have to worry about other STD's.
If this was your only exposure, you really don't have reason to fear for HIV.

Last year in SFO they had a conference on oral sex. The leading HIV DOC> were there . The end result was Oral sex without ejaulation poses a very small risk. Pre cum might cause infection but unlikly. They never can say never. Even with ejaculation oral is a smaller risk. One example was in spain they studied couples one + one - who were having unprotected oral sex In this large study no one contracted infection zero. So is there a risk yes but it is low. It is even lower in your case with pre cum. Get tested in six weeks then 12wks don't panic if what you say is true you are fine DJ
